Sustainability is not a trend for us at the Klabacher Ski School, but a matter close to our hearts. Our aim is to combine top performance in skiing with environmental responsibility and social fairness - for ourselves and for future generations.

We combine skiing fun with respect for nature. In addition to first-class ski lessons for children, we integrate sustainability aspects in a playful way. Our program “Alpine Entdecker-Akademie” combines skiing with environmental awareness so that children discover the mountain world and understand how to protect it.

We are convinced of the need to raise awareness at an early age. By instilling these values in even the youngest skiers, we are investing in a future in which top performance and responsibility go hand in hand.

Our team - the heart of our ski school

Our ski instructors are our most valuable asset and understand their role as role models on the mountain. We rely on Above-average pay and the best possible working conditionswhich enable an optimal work-life balance. Regular training courses in ski technology, sustainability and communication keep our team up to date.

Sustainability & digitalization

We at the Klabacher Ski School are proud not only to offer first-class ski lessons, but also to play an active role in shaping a sustainable future for Kitzbühel and winter sports. Our commitment is based on sound scientific knowledge, in particular the Master thesis unseres Gründers Mag. Patrick Klabcaher zum Thema ‘Nachhaltigkeit im Unternehmertum durch digitale Transformation’.

KitzSki focuses on green energy

Sustainability has become an essential part of everyday life. This has long been especially true for power consumption, but increasingly also for power generation. KitzSki obtains electricity from renewable energy sources from power providers in Tyrol and Salzburg.

KitzSki receives a certificate from TIWAG - Tiroler Wasserkraft AG - documenting the distribution of primary energy sources[5]. According to this certification, approximately 85% of the energy comes from hydropower.
Approximately 85 percent of the electricity comes from hydropower, about 11 percent of the electricity is generated by wind power.
The remainder consists of solar energy and other eco-friendly energy sources.
The Salzburg AG confirms that 100% of the supplied electricity comes from renewable energy sources and is fed into the power grid.
With these measures, KitzSki emphasizes its commitment to environmental protection and sustainable energy use in ski operations.
